mixed feelings about my stay

repetitive foodwatered down drinks
The food was alright. however. It was pretty repetitive. i also noticed that the drinks tasted a bit watered down, especially the cocktails. the promised sea view from my room turned out to be more of a partial view, mostly overlooking a restaurant. I booked a sea view room!

happy moments in palace gardens!

me and my family had such fun! there are so many cool pools for swimming. the beach is super close, it's like a two minute walk and the water is really shallow which is great. the grounds are so pretty with gardeners working all day to keep everything looking nice.
the tiles around the pathways need replacing and a general repaint is needed, it does look a bit tired. this is the only area that needs improvements.

the food had lots of variety with something for everyone. there's always freshly prepared food available and the a la carte restaurants are really nice. i loved the different options, so it was a welcome change.

the pools are clean and well maintained , made swimming enjoyable. i liked the beach because its location made it easy to swim, and you can see cool fish from the jetty. the staff always smiled, helping with any issues.

the gardens are super clean. hard working gardeners are there. they keep the grounds immaculate. the beach is very clean and nice with a long jetty.
lunch and dinner buffet food lacked much variation. there was no clear signage.

The hotel was very clean and well kept. It was a pleasure to walk around the grounds day and night. the room was nice with a comfy bed, and the air conditioning worked well. room service cleaned regularly, so everything was always tidy. the staff was kind and willing to help with anything (i mean it!).
the tiles around some pathways could use replacing, and a general repaint is needed in a few spots, but it is a very minor thing.

The hotel had a good private beach with security at night. This. there was also convenient access to the reef via a pontoon, a nice spot for snorkeling, with many fish visible there. it was a enjoyable experience.

The lifeguards would often help arrange sunbeds and place towels on them. the bar staff remembered who i was and what i liked to drink (so thoughtful!). the animation team were also excellent. They made an effort to talk with everyone and to entertain.

the buffet offered very nice choices and excellent quality. i particularly enjoyed the fresh grill, the desserts, and the wide selection of fruit (the breakfast was great especially the pancakes!).
